NYC day 4

Today was the day I have been dreaming, and waiting for. The day I finally get to skate in Rockefeller Center!! This has been on my bucket list since I can remember, and today I finally get to make it happen. We chose today because, it was the warmest and sunny.

We had to wake up early because, my mom was super nice and got me the VIP pass to skate at 10:30am. It was already packed when we got there, and the rink was a disaster waiting to happen. You are crammed into this small rink with a ton of people you could have sworn never skated till that time, and then kids who have grown up skating. I think that it could’ve been done in a less dangerous way but I can skate so I got by just fine. It was fun and I’m really glad I did it however, I wouldn’t do it again.

Today we also went into Saks since we were down by it and then the Nintendo store, which was really cool because, it had all of its old versions.

Tonight we had a reservation at the Haven Rooftop restaurant before our Phantom of the Opera show. The view and the restaurant was so pretty and the atmosphere was awesome! The people next to us though, ugh they were a handful and it kind of annoyed me. Like he was saying how disappointing it was that we didn’t get bread before our meal and just everything was wrong and I was just trying to enjoy my meal. After was the Phantom of the Opera and that was so good, my mom didn’t enjoy it as much as I did but I think that’s because, I had to study it in school and loved it. I would recommend if you like Opera and or studied this.

See you tomorrow!
