This lip kit is one I struggled with, the color is not what it showed to be. It’s very dark compared to the pictures and was actually a let down for me. I still wear it because I can somewhat pull it off when I need a darker nude shade, but I wish it looked like it does on Kylie, on me.
I’m going to start this time with how it looked on Kylie, then as I apply mine you can watch and see how different it is.
It kinda reminds you of Koko K right? Well I was hoping so because I do love Koko k. Per usual I got it when it first came out and waited impatiently because it looked amazing!
Well here I go applying it with my usual steps. First the primer, then line the lips; I don’t over line because it can make your lips look funny especially since I don’t have any lip injections. So the liner is a very easy apply and sometimes I forget to sharpen them but it doesn’t take long at all. I can be tricky sharpening these though because of how far down you use them, for me I waited a little too long so mines a little funky. In the left picture you can see my defined line, then in the right I had blended into my lips so it isn’t so sharp.
The lip kit is an older one, but still applies nicely. I think it came out with Koko k and Poise K, but don’t quote me on that. I really want to try out Kourt K, but I’m thinking that’s a little too bold for me. However, I do have the dark navy one “Freedom” that was fun to wear. If you would like a review on any of the lip kits just let me know, I’d love to do them for you.
It looks like the right color when it is applied as the gloss, but then it changes when it turns into the matte.
This isn’t as pink or as light as it appears on Kylie, I love it anyways because of the different color that it turned out to be. I am disappointed it wasn’t the original color, but this color can be fun or serious! XOXO
